Chasin Tails is run by Steve Taylor who has spent many years studying the methods from the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers. Steve currently have a valid first aid certificate, he's a member of NARPS and CRB checked. We are also joined by Sarah who has a wealth of experience with rescue dogs and has three at the moment. We specialise in obedience training, this is an essential part of a puppies development.
At Chasintails over period of six weeks we endeavour to give the owner the skills and the confidence to have a well balanced dog.
Although training dogs from an early age is recommended, it is not always possible in this fast paced world.
We have no problem catering for the older dog, no dog is to old to learn.
We strongly believe in giving the optimum time to each individual puppy/dog, owner so we keep our classes small, w e pride ourselves in the way we train by using science based techniques, positive reinforcement, rewarding the dog for all the good behaviour punishment for bad behaviour is simply no reward!.We use no harsh treatment everything we do is force free.

Unfortunately we were unable to attend two of the lessons but Steve has very kindly offered us some out of hours help and advice.
I started these classes thinking Cooper my 5month old dachshund would totally ignore me but finished the course realising he's a very smart little fella.
I've learnt ways to work with him to build a great relationship!
Met some great doggie friends and loved seeing them all improve over the weeks.
