Bark Busters trainers work directly with you in your own home to resolve behaviour problems and help with your general training needs. Of course, where problem behaviours happen outside your home, we work with you to resolve problems such as pulling, lunging, chasing and more severe problems such as aggression to other dogs, animals, or people.
Our training takes into account the unique challenges you're facing, fostering a positive relationship between you and your dog. Our method enables you to build a lasting, emotional bond based on trust and respect, which in turn aids in overcoming past challenges with your dog. Bark Busters Home Dog Training was founded in Australia in 1989 by renowned dog behaviour experts Sylvia and Danny Wilson.
Sylvia spent ten years as a shelter manager for the RSPCA Australia and became tired of dogs being surrendered due to behavioural problems.
They worked at developing a training system based on their observations of the way dogs communicate and learn.
As part of their studies it became apparent that some dogs suffer from stress when taken out of their own environment and that this hampered the learning process for both dog and owner.

Emma was asked to help us with our rescue 18 month old lady.
When we initially booked it was for 2 ladies.
Sadly Izzy's mom passed away.
After some emails we decided to proceed.
Emma kindly assessed us and Izzy and determined that physical training and correction was just not possible because of Izzy's state of stress and fear.
Instead she proceeded giving us incredibly good advice regarding behaviour, exercise and feeding.
We since had numerous supporting emails full of information.
We have seen small amount of progress in just one week and is ready to contact Emma for a follow up.
