To groom your dog to a high standard takes between 1.5 - 2.5 hours for a small or medium dog who's coat is in good condition, if the salon needs your dog for longer than that, your dog may be held in a queue whilst other dogs are groomed, any less than that it would be difficult to do a thorough job.

This covers everything your pet needs to look great, including dead hair removal, between the pads trim, ear cleanse, two shampoos specifically suited to you pets coat, a warm blow dry and a custom cut to suit you and your pets lifestyle finished with a luxury cologne spritz spray.

This depends on your dog's breed and size, the type of coat and condition of coat, as well as the type of trim.
My average is about 1.5 - 2 hours per dog.
I prefer to start a puppy's grooming at around 12-16 weeks.
I do NOT recommend a haircut the first time---it is asking a lot of the groomer to use scissors and clippers on a wiggly puppy.
It's also a lot to ask of a puppy, with their short attention spans.
I recommend bringing the puppy in once a month for the first 4 grooms.
This will help get your puppy comfortable with the usual sounds he will hear in a grooming salon; clippers, scissors, dryers, etc.
