Deborah and her experienced team offer personal, friendly and professional dog walking, puppy visits, doggy daycare, kennel collection, puppy socialisation, and home visits for all kinds of pets. We also board guinea pigs, rats, parrots and hamsters. Established in 2009, we are fully insured and Licensed as well as being a member of NARPS UK. Deborah is qualified in Canine First Aid.

Doggy daycare - your dog spends the day with us, having lots of attention and walks as required. Home Pet Visits - we visit your pet in your home while you are away, feed and care for them. Suitable for cats, rabbits, rodents, fish, lizards, birds, and poultry. Dog walking can be daily, weekly, regular or occasional. We are reliable, insured and experienced and walk in the New Forest every day.

Local walks can be arranged too. We only walk a maximum of 4 dogs at a time to ensure personal attention, retain control and so your dog has fun! Listen to Deborah's recent Radio Solent interview about possible plans to legislate on the maximum number of dogs that can be walked commercially at a time.
Services
The business was set up by Deborah following more than 20 years' personal experience of looking after her own and other people's animals from stick insects, dogs and cats to goats!
She has also been an RSPCA volunteer, a farm assistant, has studied Animal Behaviour and have worked for a wildlife rehabilitation centre.
Deborah holds a canine first aid certificate and a current DSB (formerly CRB) certificate.
Forest Pet Services is based in Marchwood, Southampton.
We cover the 'Waterside' (Marchwood, Hythe, Holbury and surrounding areas), eastern New Forest area, Eling, Ashurst and some western parts of Totton.
It is important that puppies are introduced early on to other friendly dogs and animals as well as different environments and people.
We can work out a socialisation programme with you and help with toilet training and other training needs too.
Puppies need to have had their first set of vaccinations before mixing with other dogs, but pre-vaccination visits in your own home can be arranged.
We will take him out for an interesting 1 hour walk.
This will normally be in the nearby New Forest, but walks can be accommodated to suit your dog.
Animals in cages, tanks and hutches, birds and other small pets are often happy to be left in their own surroundings while you are out or away, but they still require regular feeding, water changes, cleaning out, exercise (either safely indoors or outside in a run), and handling and stroking where appropriate.
We can also board hamsters, guinea pigs, fancy rats, degus, chinchillas, lizards and parrots in our own home - ask us for details.
Chickens and ducks make entertaining pets but it can be difficult to ask busy friends, family or neighbours to look after them while you are out or away.
Sometimes people lack the experience, confidence or knowledge to ensure your birds get the best care when you are away, despite the best intentions.
With many years of personal experience, we provide peace of mind that your birds will be safely looked after in your absence.
