Dogs need exercise and fun. Our four legged friends enjoy the outdoors, with all of the exciting sights, sounds and smells, and we are lucky enough in Cardiff to have an abundance of parks and open countryside. Muddy Mutts is a dog walking and training service that can help you with the care your dog needs. We fully understand it can be difficult to juggle all the demands on your time.

So if you need that little extra help to walk your dog, or need help with dog training, contact Muddy Mutts for a solution. From one off walks when your time has been squeezed, to longer term care plans, we can provide a dog walking and training service tailor made to your needs. Your dog will be walked by an experienced dog trainer, who as part of the basic walk will be ensuring your furry friend adheres to road safety and integrates appropriately with other dogs.
Services
If your dog needs a little more attention, or if you are concerned about social interaction with other dogs then we can arrange for one on one walks where your dog will benefit from our full attention, with lots of interactive play and fuss.
Then if you wish, they can be slowly introduced to other dogs as part of a training plan.
These one on one walks also enable us to concentrate on certain aspects of training with your dog if you are aware of any behavioural or recall problems.
Just let us know what you feel needs improving and an experienced handler can work out a comprehensive plan to assist you in the training of your dog.
Pulling on the lead is a common problem, but one which can be corrected very easily.
Most dogs respond excellently to simple techniques which we can teach you.
There are 2 simple reasons why dogs pull - they have a faster pace, and you haven't communicated to them what you want them to do in a way that they understand.
We offer one to one sessions to teach you how to effectively communicate with your dog, how to slow them down, and ultimately walk in pace with you.
Regain the enjoyment of walking together with your dog.
Taking the plunge and getting a puppy?
Talk to us before you buy.
Choosing to own a dog is a big decision.
It is understandable to be excited, but you could find yourself making an impulsive decision which might lead to heartache.
The RSPCA estimate 47% of puppies are not with their original owners 2 years down the line.
The decision to buy a puppy should not be taken lightly, and with over 300 breeds to choose from, and multitudes of crosses, each with their own characteristics and needs, it can be hard to make that match.
