At about the same time, we were adopting our handsome greyhound Buddy from Greyhound Gap.
We could have him on the condition that we found a dog walker to break up the day for him.

We will collect your dog from your home and walk him in the local area, familiar to him, unless we have specifically agreed otherwise with you.
We will go at your dog's pace, providing a brisk walk for dogs raring to go, or a slow, steady amble for an elderly pet.
We will walk your dogs in all weather unless it is dangerous to do so (or your dog just says no!) in which case we will provide him with chance to go to the toilet and spend time at home to break up the day.

If you are going out for the day and will be back later than usual, work shifts which mean your dog is left over a feeding time, or have a longer than usual day at work, we can visit your pet and give him his meal and chance to go to the toilet.
If you don't need your dog to be walked but have to leave him for longer than you would like during the day, York Walkies can help.

For all walks or visits before 8 am or after 6 pm, a 3 supplement will be added, and for addresses in the city centre or further afield, a supplement may be added to take account of additional travel time.
