Walkies is a friendly and reliable dog walking service for East Oxford and the surrounding villages. We walk five days a week, rain, shine, in sleet and snow, to give your dogs the regular exercise and company they need to keep mentally and physically well. When we first set eyes on that gorgeous fluffy puppy who's just too cute to resist, we have the best intentions to be out day and night exercising our new best friend.
Then work gets busy, you can't get home at lunch time to walk the dog, or late nights in the office mean your dog is sat home alone. Before you know it your dog is developing undesirable behaviours, like barking and chewing. Before this happens you will need a reliable and trustworthy dog walker. Knowing that your dog will be going out, socialising with other dogs in parks and open areas around Oxford, having lots of fun and exercise will give you peace of mind, and keep your dog happy and healthy.

I have lived in Oxford for over 40 years, attending Matthew Arnold School, Oxford College, Buckingham Chilterns University and Oxford Brookes University.
After many years in management, consultancy and charity work, I set up Walkies in 2011 to provide a professional dog walking service in Oxford, making the decision that I wanted to work for myself, and there would be nothing better than working with dogs.
Being bought up with dogs has given me a lifetimes experience of dog ownership, and I have worked hard to gain knowledge to enable me to reliably and safely walk dogs for my clients.

We will come to your home in Oxford and this is a chance to get to know you, your dog, and to discuss your dogs needs and access arrangements.
We will ask lots of questions about your dog, his likes and dislikes, level of training and socialisation, personality, and your requirements for him.
Walkies will take your dog out for a walk in a small group, usually no more than four.
If groups are bigger than four, an assistant walker is there to accompany the walk, ensuring all dogs get the attention they need and crave.
