We are a caring and professional dog grooming salon located in Snainton, Scarborough. We can cater for all of your dog's grooming needs, whether it be nail clipping, wash and dry or the full works, we are here to help and advise you. We pride ourselves on giving your pet the love and care it needs in the grooming salon and it is our pleasure to pamper each and every one!
At Shampooch our main priority is to ensure a calm and caring environment for your pet and we treat every dog as if they were a member of our family. We are not a busy walk in salon which can often lead to interruptions in the grooming of a dog and can cause undue stress during the process. Regular grooming is very important for the health and well-being of any dog, and at Shampooch we take a personal interest in all of the dogs that we see.
We like to build up a relationship with each dog, getting to know their likes and dislikes and note the particular areas that they may be sensitive with, so we know to deal with these areas with particular care.

My name is Jenny Taylor and I am the owner of Shampooch Dog Grooming Salon in Scarborough.
My journey to where I am today began from a very early age where I developed a strong love and passion for all animals, but in particular dogs.
From the day I was born I have always had dogs in my life and felt a great love and endearment towards them.
One of my most precious memories is the day I went to collect my own dog, my Cocker Spaniel Henry.
Henry was 10 weeks old and from the minute we met I knew I would cherish the little bundle of love forever.

Please note the prices shown below are based on dogs that have received regular grooming and whose coats are in reasonable condition.
For this reason all prices should be considered as a starting price, if your dog has not been groomed for a long time and the coat is severely matted, extra costs will be incurred.
A wash and blow dry service to maintain your dog between grooms and to deal with the aftermath of your pet's adventures!
Nail trims and ear cleaning can be added for an additional cost.
